note that when you call in for a service call, we will ask you
what make
your fireplace is. Many
fireplace brands are now obsolete and parts are no longer available.

Q: I have been having trouble with my fireplace. It comes
on sometimes and not at all at other times. I've had a repair man in
several times but it has not made any difference. I am inclined to
think that it is a problem with the wiring between the fireplace and the
switch. Could you recommend someone whom I could get to fix this
problem? The fireplace man assured me that there is nothing wrong with
the switch or the fireplace but it just won't work after spending $200 and
buying a new switch. I'd appreciate any suggestions you could give me.

your natural-gas insert. I take it from your frustrations that they
